Every week there is one podcast that I have on my schedule to listen to. Saturday mornings after a workout and on my drive to coffee, I listen to The All-In Podcast. It drops every Friday evening.
The four “Besties” Chamath Palihapitiya, Jason Calacanis, David Sacks and David Friedberg started this podcast during quarantine last year. It’s a podcast on tech, finance, business, investing, current events and politics. They highlight and recap the week’s hot topic issues and give their unfiltered opinions.
With past involvement in Google, Facebook and PayPal as well as being early investors in many successful companies their resumes speak for themselves. If you want to know about each of their roads to success take time and read about them. They all have had a very interesting path.
When it first started, I was skeptical of what the real agenda was. But it’s not a talk your book, pound your chest and look what I did storyline. They don’t pump their companies and try to sell you anything. Or to buy stock in any number of the companies they own or are invested in. There are no ads and no agendas.
They take an issue and cover it from all angles. Each share their point of view. They make you think about each side of things. It’s level headed thinking on some of the most controversial and complicated topics.
There is left leaning, right leaning and centrist points of view on politics. They interact so well together it feels like you’re a part of the conversation while sitting around a poker table.
They challenge, argue and spat like all best friends do. That’s what makes it it so real and raw. Their passion and opinions towards certain topics shine through. You may agree, disagree or be neutral on something they discuss. But they will enlighten, educate and make you think. It’s why each week I look forward to their new episode.
I have a link below via Apple Podcasts. Give it a listen and let me know what you think.
